HAYS JAPAN EARNS GREAT PLACE TO WORK CERTIFICATION

Hays Special Recruitment Japan, the world’s specialist leader in workforce solutions and recruitment, proudly announces that its certification as Great Place to Work® by the esteemed Great Place to Work® Institute Japan, the global authority on workplace culture.

This prestigious certification is a testament to the feedback received from employees through an anonymous third-party survey, distributed across the entire organisation. Our initiatives through 2023

Hays Japan has outlined various initiatives to further enhance the employee experience and drive success:z

DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion):

Hays Japan actively promotes DE&I through its DISCo (Diversity & Inclusion Steering Committee). In June 2023, we hosted the inaugural "Hays Inclusive Week" to celebrate and raise awareness of DE&I.

Flexible Working Arrangement:

Hays Japan offers flexible work arrangements, such as remote work and flexible start & finish times. Embracing a hybrid work environment enables employees to achieve better work-life harmony.

Employee Benefits:

Hays Japan provides a range of benefits such as “Hays Rewards” which allows full-time employees with two or more years of tenure to access fitness, leisure and other perks annually. Our "Loyalty leave" programme grants employees with leave entitlement based on their length of service starting from the second year.

AC League:

Associate consultants at Hays Japan are enrolled in the AC League, a system that fosters networking among employees in similar positions through internal events.

Monthly conference “Bushido”:

Every month, Hays Japan organises the “Bushido” conference across its Tokyo, Osaka, and Yokohama offices. This conference not only recognises achievements in the business division but also provides corporate service departments with opportunities for recognition and appreciation.

Grant Torrens, Managing Director at Hays Japan, commented on the award, “We are incredibly proud of our Hays Japan business for being recognised for this prestigious award. A successful culture has to go beyond just words alone. Our team has demonstrated the ability to turn their words into actions, and I consider myself to be incredibly fortunate to work with talented people that bring that kind of passion to the table every day!”.
