Join a leading global financial institution with a strong presence in Japan. We are seeking a Credit Risk Manager to support and enhance our risk management framework, focusing on wholesale banking and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Assess and monitor credit risk across a diverse portfolio of corporate and institutional clients
2) Collaborate closely with front office teams to ensure sound risk decisions in a fast-paced environment.
3) Prepare and present credit proposals, risk ratings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
4) Stay up to date with local regulatory requirements and global risk standards
5) Contribute to internal risk policy development and process improvements

Ideal Candidate:
1) 5+ years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably within wholesale or institutional banking
2) Strong understanding of financial statements, credit structures, and market dynamics
3) Proven ability to work effectively with sales and relationship teams
4) Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) and comfortable communicating in English
5) Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing risk
