Your new role

• Define and break down system requirements based on customer needs, internal standards, and communication protocols
• Facilitate technical discussions with customers and internal teams to ensure requirement alignment and propose solutions
• Design system architecture and create technical documentation (e.g., state transition diagrams, communication sequences)
• Support vehicle testing activities both internally and externally
• Collaborate with project managers and functional leads to ensure timely delivery and quality
• Coordinate with global engineering teams across software, hardware, and validation domains
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in software design and development for commercial products
• Project management skills in a software development environment
• Japanese language proficiency for customer interactions (spoken and written)
• Business-level English proficiency for collaboration with global teams

• Knowledge of telematics systems and wireless communication technologies (Wi-Fi, 4G/LTE/5G, Bluetooth)
• Experience with in-vehicle networks (CAN, Ethernet)
• Background in embedded system design
• Experience using project management tools such as JIRA
