It also contributes to the society by developing and providing innovative construction solutions that enhance the durability and longevity of buildings and infrastructure. By creating products that withstand the test of time, it reduces the need for frequent repairs and replacements, ultimately minimizing resource consumption. Its products contribute to energy-efficient buildings. For instance, their high-performance insulation materials help regulate indoor temperatures, reducing the need for excessive heating or cooling. This not only saves energy but also lowers greenhouse gas emissions.
It actively supports green building initiatives. Many of their products meet the criteria for certifications such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method). These certifications promote sustainable construction practices and recognize environmentally friendly materials.
Your new role:
- Partner with Plant Managers and their direct reports to define short-term and long-term organization development requirements (workforce planning, culture).
- Partner with leaders to retain talent. Advise and assist Plant Leadership, and other appropriate leaders regarding employee performance issues and actions required for improvement.
- Partner with leaders to create a culture of inclusion where all employees feel valued and see Sika Japan as a place where they can do their best work.
What you will need to succeed:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in progressively responsible roles within human resources, including human resources business partner or “generalist” roles. 4-5 yrs HR business partnering or generalist experience supporting a manufacturing organization is a must.
- Business level of English
