Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a global technology leader seeking a highly accomplished
Senior Sales Director to drive enterprise sales growth in Japan. This role is ideal for a strategic sales executive with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure or cybersecurity solutions, and a strong understanding of the Japanese business landscape. The successful candidate will be bilingual in Japanese and English, and bring a proven ability to lead high-performing teams and close complex, high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and grow a senior sales team focused on enterprise and public sector clients across Japan.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for cloud and cybersecurity offerings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, partners, and key stakeholders.
Drive revenue growth through strategic account planning, pipeline development, and deal execution.
Collaborate with global product, marketing, and technical teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics in Japan.
Provide regular performance updates and strategic insights to executive leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
10+ years of experience in enterprise sales leadership, preferably in cloud services, cybersecurity, or telecom.
Strong understanding of Japanese enterprise culture and decision-making processes.
Fluent in Japanese and English (both written and spoken).
Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and closing multimillion-dollar deals.
Experience leading and mentoring high-performing sales teams.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, CISSP) are a plus.
