Your new company

Our client, a European pharmaceutical company with a strong focus on speciality care, is looking to hire a RWE/ RWD head for Japan. If you have experience related to epidemiology, observational research, real world evidence (RWE), real world data (RWD), outcome research or biostatistics and/or market access and willing to specialise in outcome research and real world evidence, this new position is for you.

Your new role

As RWE head, your role will be to:
- establish a RWE strategy for Japan office
- work with multiple teams, from clinical development to medical affairs and safety, to ensure real world evidence is used most efficiently in both scientific and commercial contexts
- identify and gather real world data available in Japan
- communicate with international offices about Japan's situation compared to other markets
- attend events, seminars, conferences related to real world evidence

What you'll need to succeed

- Degree or previous work experience related to epidemiology, observational research, RWE, RWD, outcomes research
- Work experience (ideally at least 5 years) in the pharmaceutical industry
- Native Japanese and business English, to work with global offices
- Strong cross-functional project management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Entrepreneur mindset and ability to start projects and drive initiatives from scratch
