This global leading conglomerate in luxury watches & jewellery is at the forefront of its sector, serving worldwide, generating revenue across almost 500 stores in Japan, e-commerce sites, and wholesale. The company engages with the world's top maison and fashion houses. To capitalise on the company’s growth over the times, they are looking to expand their Legal team in the Tokyo Office.

Your new role

You’ll effectively work hands closely with the COO responsible for all legal matters for the Groups brands in Japan. Supporting day-to-day drafting and reviewing of contracts, providing legal advice, and integration of new brands into the company. The opportunity to work closely with the US and EU legal teams on various global projects as well. Understanding the nuances of clients and company’s future potential for technology e-commerce evolution.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a similar role within legal will lead to your success, as well as:

• Minimum 5 years in-house or private practice experience
• Native Japanese and Business English language abilities are a MUST
• Luxury, Retail, or Digital industry experience is a plus
• Bar qualification from Japan or US is a plus
