Your new role
You will join a Credit IT development team responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting applications used for credit bond issuance and inventory management. In addition to maintaining existing systems, you will play a key role in modernizing legacy desk tools and migrating them onto a strategic global platform.
This role involves close collaboration with business users and other technology teams, working across the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation. You will also provide advanced application support to trading and business users, contributing to system stability and ongoing improvements.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
4–6+ years of hands-on development experience using Java
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g. MSSQL)
Experience with JavaScript and React
Familiarity with Linux environments
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
The ability to work effectively in small, agile teams as well as global environments
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
Clear communication skills in both English and Japanese
