Your new role
- Act as HR Business Partner for retail operations and selected head office functions
- Lead workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives
- Manage performance reviews, succession planning, and organizational design projects
- Handle employee relations, compliance with Japanese labor law, and policy implementation
- Take ownership of recruitment for all store-based positions, including sourcing, interviews, and onboarding
- Collaborate on global HR projects and drive employer branding for frontline roles
What you'll need to succeed
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English
- 3-5 years of HRBP or HR generalist experience, ideally in luxury retail or hospitality
- Proven ability in both strategic HR partnering and high-volume recruitment
- Strong knowledge of Japanese labor law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
