This company is a leading, next-generation internet brokerage and fintech company established in 2019. We provide a one-stop, multi-asset global investment platform that offers access to the US and Asia region.
As business is expanding in Japan, we are looking to hire a head of finance in Japan to set up the finance function and ensure compliance with regulators.

Your new role

  • Support the setup and development of the finance function, including establishing workflows, internal controls, and documentation standards.
  • Communicate closely with global finance teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of cross-border transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with Japanese brokerage‑related regulations, tax requirements, and statutory reporting obligations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fluent Japanese (reading/writing/speaking) and business‑level English or Chinese.
  • Experience with capital adequacy ratio
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, in a securities or brokerage firm.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, journal entries, and month‑end processes.
