This pivotal role involves overseeing all finance-related activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations, and contributing to the strategic development of their local operations.

Your new role

• Lead and develop the finance department of 10+ employees

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS/local GAAP.
  Maintain compliance with local and Group regulations in Accounting, Tax, and Legal areas.

• Provide key financial insights for strategic decision-making.

• Participate in business committees and contribute to financial presentations.

• Coordinate statutory audits and follow up on findings.

• Manage tax risks and ensure compliance. Lead and contribute to transformation projects.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven track record demonstrating technical skills in the financial controlling field, particularly in USGAAP and JGAAP

• Minimum 8+ years' experience in the financial services industry

• Fluent English & Japanese

• High level of communication and leadership experience

• Proven ability to make informed decisions and provide relevant financial guidance.
