Your new role

• Ensure the branch operates in full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, while managing legal risks and regulatory filings

• Maintain and implement compliance policies, manuals, and training programs

• Foster relationships with regulators and industry associations

• Review and assess branch operations and governance

• Lead local business continuity planning and data loss prevention efforts in coordination with global teams

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• Minimum of 15 years as a compliance officer

• Fluent level English and Japanese

• Qualified lawyer in any jurisdiction

• Knowledge and/or experience in related industry
