• Ensuring exceptional controllership, including overseeing the monthly close process, ensuring proper controls are in place to protect the Company’s assets, and auditing data to ensure its accuracy
• Owning the preparation of the annual operating plan, and managing reviews to track and update progress against the plan
• Guiding the business team in planning and executing new initiatives including ROI and investment cases
• Championing technology and automation improvements for the finance function, including participating in the implementation of new operational tools
• Continuously seeking out opportunities for customer experience improvements and cost reduction, and partner with operations leadership to implement the opportunities.
• Managing and mentoring a team of financial analysts, leading the team and guiding team member career development

• BA/BS degree
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information in an effective way.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems using data and metrics.
• Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with business partners.

Superb attention to details and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos, etc.)
• MBA or professional certification (CIMA/ACCA/Qualified Accounting certificate)
• Previous experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
