Your new role
This is more than a traditional administrative position.
As Business Operations Manager, you become the backbone of the Tokyo Real Estate team, trusted to keep the office running seamlessly while enabling senior leaders to focus on investment decisions.
You’ll have genuine ownership of day‑to‑day operations and act as the key liaison between the local team and regional/global stakeholders. The role offers broad exposure across operations, finance, HR, IT, vendor management, and risk coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and responsibility.
In this role, you will:
Act as the primary operational partner to the Real Estate team in Tokyo
Manage office operations, vendors, security, and business continuity matters
Support finance processes, including expenses, invoicing, and approvals
Assist with HR and IT onboarding, employee lifecycle activities, and engagement initiativesCoordinate with colleagues across
Japan, Singapore, and London

What you'll need to succeed
8–10 years’ experience in business operations, team administration, or office management within financial services (asset management or real estate exposure strongly preferred)
Confidence operating in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environment
Fluent Japanese and English (both written and spoken)
A proactive, self‑starting mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
High attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to juggle priorities
Strong MS Office skills, especially Word and PowerPoint
