Your new role
As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating internal foundational systems that support cross-team collaboration and productivity.
This hybrid role blends SaaS engineering with corporate system development, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies and business domains.
You’ll work closely with internal users, receive direct feedback, and co-create solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You’ll also have the freedom to influence technical decisions, adopt new tools, and lead initiatives that shape the future of internal platforms.

What you'll need to succeed
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Development experience with Ruby on Rails/Golang
  • Experience using container technologies such as Docker
  • Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 equivalent)
  • Basic English proficiency (TOEIC 600 or equivalent) to adapt to an increasingly global engineering environment
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Experience operating services on AWS or GCP
  • Microservices development experience
  • Agile/Scrum team development experience
  • Data engineering experience
  • Experience in 0→1 phase development
  • Proven ownership in solving cross-organizational challenges
  • Experience developing or integrating AI tools
  • Familiarity with AI-driven automation, aligned with the company’s long-term vision to integrate AI agents across all products
