About the job
Objectives of the Position
• Linkage function to connect Sales with Regional Marketing and customer needs with Technical and Product Development teams in E&E modules, Thermal management and Electrical Propulsion application for Automotive.
• Identifies and coordinates launch and support of new applications and new materials to assigned (sub)segment.
• Transfers customer/application needs to new product specifications and product development.
• Set up solution involving other companies
• Support target application development work for Japanese OEMs and key Tier1s globally
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
• Financial Metrics: Project pipeline KPI's: Acquired projects, Commercialized projects, Awarded projects (total estimated sales volume), The numbers of new application and new technology development with customers.
• Operational/ Organization Metrics; R&D activities (budget projects, topics, phase gate), Market intelligence for addressed segments, New product and new solution developments
• Work Management; Summarize all of the requirement from responsible segment, Initiate the discussion with regional team and propose the requirement, Update and implement the application strategy, Develop new business opportunities (Short/Mid./Long term) by application and product development, Initiate to make clear action for target applications with sales colleagues, Monitor the development status for target applications, Market Intelligence for new application and technology.
• Expand new e-Mobility customer contacts at the existing and new accounts & propose new solutions
• Develops, manages and drives innovation pipeline with strategic customers
• Manages domestic activity and supports regional JTT initiatives

Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s in chemical engineering, Chemistry, Polymers, Mechanical Engineering or related fields or above.
Working Experience
• Technical engineer in Automotive related industry or chemical / engineering plastic industry.
• Prefer Experience of material engineering or design in OEMs or Tier1s
Technical & Professional Knowledge
• Engineering Plastics

• Effective Business Reporting / Communication in English
• Strong technical background in Project management
