A rapidly growing and highly innovative technology manufacturer is seeking an SCM & PSI Planning professional to join its Business Planning team in Tokyo. Your new role

  • As an SCM & PSI Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for managing demand and supply planning activities to ensure stable production and delivery performance.
    Key responsibilities include:
    • Developing and adjusting production and supply-demand plans based on customer forecasts and orders.
    • Managing inventory levels and driving inventory optimisation initiatives.
    • Coordinating closely with Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement, Quality, and other internal stakeholders.
    • Monitoring supply chain performance through KPI management and reporting.
    • Supporting supply-demand balancing and capacity planning activities.
    • Driving SCM process improvements and planning excellence initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in PSI Planning, S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or related Supply Chain Planning functions.
  • Experience managing supply-demand balancing in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Experience with planning management, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Business-level English communication skills.
  • Experience using ERP or SCM systems such as SAP or Oracle is highly desirable.
Preferred:
  • Experience within manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, automotive, or other complex production environments.
  • Experience managing medium to long-term production plans.
