Location: Shinagawa, Tokyo (mostly office‑based)
Salary: ¥8–12 million (depending on experience)

This is a confidential search for a newly created role within their Japan business.
Your New Role
As Contact Centre Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and managing a new customer service / contact centre at the Tokyo office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing contact centre operations, processes, and service standards
- Recruiting, training, and managing a new team of 4–5 staff members
- Overseeing daily operations, performance, and service quality
- Working closely with global stakeholders and reporting to an overseas Director
- Collaborating with internal development and sales teams to support business growth
Working hours:
Monday–Friday: 9:30 AM – 8:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Shift‑based operation)
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Native‑level Japanese and business‑level English communication skills
- Strong understanding of Japanese culture and business practices
- 2–3+ years of management experience in a call centre or customer service environment
- Experience leading teams and handling operational setup or improvement
- Ability to use and quickly learn new IT systems and tools
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is preferred but not mandatory
