Facility Manager with an international medical device company

Your new company

An international medical device company with approximately 1,200 staff in Japan.

Your new role

As Facility Manager, you will be based in the company's Tokyo HO and you will be responsible for that HO and all sites in Japan. You will manage all FM and GA tasks, including building maintenance, vendor management and budget control. You will have 2 direct reports + a team of outsourced contract staff. Reports locally to the Head of HR. Some communication with overseas offices and counterparts is required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree preferred
  • Min 5 yrs experience in Facility Management, or General Affairs
  • Experience in vendor management, people management, contract negotiation and budget control
  • Knowledge of Japanese labour safety laws and building regulations (preferred)
  • Fluent Japanese and min business-level English
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and facility management systems
