Security Manager

Global Data Centre company is now seeking a Security Manager to support its various sites in Japan.

The Security Manager will be based in the Tokyo HQ, reporting to the Director of Security, or Senior Security Operations Manager. You will work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, advising on security operations, security compliance, security designs and security system reviews.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ yrs in a security role with experience with security operations and high-security facilities, preferably data centres.
  • Qualifications in security or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of security operations planning and security system designs.
  • Fluent in Japanese and English (Competent written, verbal and data presentation skills) and well-developed communication, collaboration, influence and conflict resolution skills.
  • An understanding of and experience implementing local Japan building code security requirements and other security standards/regulations impacting data centres in the region.
