A global healthcare innovator is seeking a seasoned supply chain leader to head its commercial SCM function in Japan. This organisation is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence, and is undergoing a strategic transformation to enhance its supply chain capabilities across the APAC region.

Your new role

As Head of Supply Chain Management, you will lead a multifunctional team responsible for demand planning, S&OP, third-party management, product lifecycle, and trade compliance. You will drive strategic initiatives to ensure reliable product supply, optimise distribution costs, and maintain high forecast accuracy. This role also involves cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, finance, and global SCM teams, as well as talent development and organisational leadership.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven leadership experience in supply chain management, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, S&OP, product lifecycle management, and GxP compliance
• Experience managing cross-functional and international teams
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance cost, service level, and inventory
• Fluent English and Japanese communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
