Your new role

• Develop and implement strategies to grow and profitably manage the casualty portfolio.
• Build strong broker and client relationships to drive new business and renewals.
• Assess risks and make underwriting decisions aligned with Starr’s guidelines.
• Propose tailored insurance solutions to support client needs and business growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams and represent Starr in meetings and industry events.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years in casualty underwriting or broking
• Strong knowledge of casualty products and market practices
• Familiarity with Japan’s insurance market and regulations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent in Japanese and English
• Experience with multinational programs preferred
