Your new role

• Provide front-line legal support for commercial, procurement, and sales contracts
• Advise on legal risks, manage disputes, and support IP protection
• Lead compliance initiatives including data privacy, investigations, and training
• Deliver targeted legal and compliance training and support due diligence
• Manage claims and litigation, streamline processes, and coordinate with external counsel in Japan and Korea

What you'll need to succeed

• 10+ years legal experience in Japan
• In-house experience at a multinational company
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English
• Strong legal and compliance expertise
• Experience with procurement and commercial contracts
• Background in manufacturing preferred
• Willingness to travel occasionally (1–2 times/year)
