Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our enterprise sales team in Tokyo. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in solution-based selling, team leadership, and strategic account management across industries. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing talent, and building lasting relationships with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of solution sales executives to consistently achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from pipeline development to deal closure, ensuring predictable conversion rates and quarterly performance.
- Collaborate with marketing and field teams to implement sales initiatives and demand generation strategies.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex sales engagements and customer issues.
- Conduct regular business reviews and forecasting meetings to monitor progress and identify opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, particularly in supply chain, operations, and procurement functions.
- Provide ongoing feedback and support to team members to foster professional growth and career development.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of successful enterprise software or solution sales experience, with a strong track record of quota attainment.
- At least 2 years of experience managing sales teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of business processes in areas such as supply chain planning, logistics, manufacturing execution, and procurement.
- Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and influence decision-makers at the executive level.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills; proficiency in tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in Japanese and business-level English.
