Compliance Investigation Leader (Full Remote Work Available)
Position Overview
This role leads to internal investigations related to compliance matters, including whistleblower reports, fraud, and regulatory breaches. You will work within a global compliance framework, collaborating with regional counterparts and contributing to a culture of integrity and ethical conduct.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage internal investigations triggered by whistleblower reports or compliance concerns
- Handle cases involving fraud, bribery, data privacy, and regulatory violations
- Collaborate with global compliance leaders and regional managers
- Develop and implement corrective actions and preventive measures
- Mentor and guide a small team of compliance professionals (3 members)
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience in compliance investigations, internal audit, legal, or risk management
- High ethical standards and discretion
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
- Business-level English (reading, writing, and speaking) for global meetings and collaboration
Preferred:
- Experience in Big 4 consulting firms or multinational corporations
- Legal qualifications or relevant academic background
- Experience working cross-functionally across departments
