A global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions is seeking a Financial Business Partner to join their Tokyo office.

Your new role

• Serve as the primary contact for all financial matters within the sector
• Provide financial guidance and challenge to operations while maintaining integrity
• Analyse monthly results, including variances against budget and forecast
• Present monthly performance reports to sector leadership
• Collaborate with the sector to achieve cost reduction and budget goals
• Oversee pricing and re-pricing processes and ensure proper controls
• Develop investment models and profitability assessments for new and existing business
• Prepare accurate monthly forecasts and detailed annual budgets
• Review and approve monthly sales and cost accruals, and analyse customer-level results
• Ensure effective cost control across operations and overhead
• Conduct regular reviews of site overheads and allocate costs appropriately to customer accounts

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in controlling or financial management
• Proven exposure to operational functions and cross-functional collaboration
• Prior working experience in a foreign multinational company based in Japan
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
