Our client, a global leader in secure digital infrastructure and managed services, is seeking a Sales Director to lead strategic growth initiatives for its Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) offerings in Japan. This is a high-impact role focused on expanding enterprise relationships, driving revenue, and positioning the company as a trusted advisor in cybersecurity and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership: Own and drive MSSP sales strategy across Japan, targeting enterprise and public sector clients.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders, positioning the client’s cybersecurity and managed services portfolio.
Solution Selling: Lead consultative sales efforts focused on outcome-based solutions including threat detection, incident response, cloud security, and compliance.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical architects, product teams, and marketing to deliver tailored solutions and drive pipeline growth.
Market Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop account plans, and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with customer needs.
Performance Management: Track sales metrics, forecast revenue, and report progress to regional leadership.
Ideal Candidate
10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, with a focus on cybersecurity, cloud, or managed services.
Proven success in selling MSSP or MSP solutions to large enterprises or government clients.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat landscapes, and regulatory environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Fluent in Japanese and business-level English.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
