Business Development Manager

Global leader in Embedded Computing Solutions
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and research potential clients and market segments to pursue new business opportunities especially in Defense and Industrial computing applications.
2. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company's customer base and increase market share.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and networking.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to develop comprehensive business development strategies.
5. Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
6. Lead the negotiation and closure of contracts, agreements, and partnerships with clients.
7. Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
8. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact business development efforts.
10. Provide timely and accurate reporting on business development activities, sales pipeline, revenue forecasts and annual business budgeting.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or Engineering.
2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably in a B2B environment for a minimum of 8 years in Defense segment.
3. Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and business development strategies.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Able to speak English fluently.
5. Ability to think strategically, analyze market data, and develop actionable insights.
6. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
10. Willingness to travel as needed.
