Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced License Compliance Sales Specialist to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. This role is crucial in ensuring our customers comply with license terms and identifying opportunities to expand their licenses. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Japanese and English and possess a strong background in license compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and Ensure Compliance:
Regularly review customer usage to ensure adherence to licensing agreements and identify any breaches.
Customer Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide guidance on compliance matters.
Opportunity Identification:
Identify opportunities to expand existing licenses and upsell additional products and services.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales, legal, and customer support teams to address compliance issues and support customer needs.
Training and Education:
Provide training and resources to customers to help them understand and comply with licensing terms.

Qualifications:

Language Skills:
Fluency in Japanese and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in license compliance, sales, or a related field.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of software licensing agreements and compliance practices.
Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
