Your new role

This is an important Physical Security Manager (or Senior Manager) role within an established Security team in Tokyo. The position is responsible for security, BCP & Crisis Management, as well as fraud and asset protection for the company's offices and stores throughout Japan. The role reports locally to the Head of department (a native English speaker) and will collaborate with counterparts in the APAC region as well as global HQ, to ensure best practice. Close working relationships with senior stakeholders in Tokyo. No direct staff reports, but it does manage external vendors.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally, a minimum of 8 years combined Physical Security and related, such as BCP, investigations, fraud

• Experience with CCTV, Access Control and alarm systems

• Experience managing a staff of professionals in addition to vendors/contractors

• Bilingual: Japanese/English. Native (or near Native Japanese) with a minimum business level English

• Willing and able to travel within Japan (occasionally overseas) and to respond to incidents 24/7/365 as needed
