The Regional Security Manager is responsible for Japan's security strategy and operations (Japan is a region itself within APAC). Reporting into the APAC Regional Head (based outside Japan), the position manages 6 local, direct reports as well as outsourced vendors. The position covers the company's main offices in Japan (two of which are in Tokyo), as well as their approximately 60 sales sites throughout Japan. The main focus of the role is on physical security, with oversight of related areas such as BCP, Crisis Management, Investigations and Risk.
What you'll need to succeed
- 10+ years in a security/crisis management role
- 5+ years in a senior leader role in security/crisis management
- People management experience
- Experience of working for an international/global firm
- Background in law enforcement, military or government preferred
- Based in Japan (or previous experience of having lived and worked in Japan)
- Fluency in Japanese and English
