Your new role

The HSE Manager is a newly created, Tokyo-based role responsible for people safety in stores/boutiques, warehouses and offices throughout Japan (Japan is considered a region within APAC, hence the job title). You will report directly to the Japan Head of Security and HSE, supporting Richemont Japan with strategic guidance and insuring compliance with changing regulations. The role requires initiative and a hands-on professional who can provide strong guidance and leadership, together with support from the local line manager, as well as by HSE professionals in global HQ overseas. Typical duties include identifying dangers in the workplace, inspecting sites (or assigning others to assist), informing internal teams about safety policies, consultation on HSE matters and coordinating and delivering training programs.

What you'll need to succeed

• Min 5yrs of experience in HSE
• HSE experience in the Cosmetics, Healthcare, FMCG, and Chemicals industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of Japanese laws and regulations, such as the Industrial Health and Safety Act, Fire Service Act, and Building Standards
• Native, or fluent Japanese and minimum business level English.
• Work well under pressure and good at multitasking
