Your new role
- provide payment and cash management services using local (Japanese) payment mechanism/systems
- provide payroll services for expat staff (including gross-up calculations/year-end adjustments etc)
- provide international payroll administration, compensation & benefit consulting
- initiate opportunities for various projects and process improvement
- help drive the development of the team's products and service offerings
- advise clients on payroll related issues when required
- prepare proposals for clients
- team manager/leader
- Management and leadership experience in payroll and cash management services
- Hold Sharoshi certification
- Experience with payment and cash management services using local (Japanese) payment mechanism/systems
- Experience with international payroll administration, compensation & benefit consulting
- Excellent people and team management skills
- Japanese proficiency: Advanced level of written and verbal communication skills
- English proficiency: Not necessarily advanced, but comfortable in use
- Sound experiences in handling local employment regulations, tax practices, pension and other related issues
- Self-motivated and driven
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding organisation skills and strong attention to detail
- Problem solving skills and requirement for creative solutions
- Client facing role
- Excellent research skills and knowledge of Japanese tax law
- Committed to growing and developing the practice
- A team player
What you'll need to succeed
Have 8 years of experience in Payroll
Can speak Fluent Japanese, Business level of English
Have Sharoushi certification (社会保険労使)
