Your new role

As an Audit Manager, you will play a key role within the internal audit function, supporting audits across a wide range of business areas including insurance operations and corporate functions.
You will be responsible for end-to-end audit delivery, including planning, testing controls, and communicating findings to stakeholders. The role also involves assessing risk and control environments, supporting audit planning, and monitoring transformation initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business and contribute to enhancing audit processes through the use of data analytics, automation, and innovative approaches.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years of internal audit experience, ideally within insurance or financial services
  • Strong understanding of risk management, controls, and governance frameworks
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CIA) or willingness to obtain
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and improvement opportunities
  • Fluency in English and Japanese preferred [Hays JD -...it Manager | PDF]
