You will be working for an international bank based here in Tokyo.
They have a vibrant culture and are looking for a replacement for a candidate who will be retiring next year.

You will be

Oversee the accounting process and ensure correct journal posting and reconciliations;
Monthly, quarterly and annual book closing based on JGAAP and BRGAAP;
Produce various regulatory and managerial reports;
Will be involved in budget process;
Will work closely with other sections and branches in relation to business processes/projects;
Will be involved in the process of new system implementation;
Accounting policies and procedures;
Tax reporting;
Liase with Head Office;
Deal with audit firm.

You must have

Accounting degree and qualified CPA;
Knowledge of JGAAP and IFRS;
At least 5 years experience as accounting manager;
High level of communication in English;
Strong computer skills and a team player.
